On Saturday afternoon there was a collision between two skiers in the Lech ski area, on the blue slope no. 238 (“Hasensprung”) near the “Der Wolf” ski hut.

A 41-year-old German woman was about to turn right on her descent when she suddenly collided with a male skier who was driving straight towards her and fell. The previously unknown man then spoke to the casualty briefly, but then left the scene of the accident without disclosing his identity data.

As it turned out, the skier suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in her right knee in the fall and was referred to a doctor in Lech for further medical treatment. The skier involved in the accident, his companion and any witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Lech Police Inspectorate (+43 (0) 59 133 8105). The still unknown male skier is said to be between 50 and 60 years old and is wearing a blue ski suit. He also spoke English.
