The company notes in a statement that it is “committed to protecting human rights” and that it is “taking measures” to limit access to the company’s services before leaving Russian territory.

As the Engadget website, Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 and that, during this period, Match Group kept services running in Russian territory. In this way, it is not known what this change of plans by Match Group was due to.

However, Match Group intends to suspend operations in Russia until the end of June.
