More than 20,000 YouTube channels were deleted by Google in the first quarter of 2023, according to a recent publication by the company.
Google revealed that it deleted more than 20,000 YouTube channels in the first quarter of 2023 alone. was published by TAG’s blog (Threat Analysis Group) by Google, where it was said that the channels that were shut down were part of an investigation into “coordinated influence operation campaigns” related to various countries. Additionally, 6,930 channels “contained Chinese-language spam content about music, entertainment, and lifestyle.”

AdSense, Blogger and domain accounts are also blocked
Google deleted accounts other than those linked to YouTube channels. According to the TAG publication, AdSense accounts, Blogger blogs and domains blocked from being displayed in Google News and Google Discover feeds were terminated.
