Conave confirms sixth wave of Covid-19 in Mexico
The National Committee for Epidemiological Surveillance (Conave)reported that the sixth wave of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Mexico according to official data in the Viral Respiratory Epidemiological Surveillance System (SISVER).
Director Gabriel García Rodríguez, General Head of Epidemiology of the institution urged all health units to disseminate the information and take the corresponding measures for their attention in all centers.
The increase in the cases of COVID-19 has alerted the authorities since according to the Weekly Technical Report of the federal Secretary of Health, the third week of this December there were 25 thousand 445 cases and 106 deaths due to this virus. A considerable increase since compared to November, in the last month of the year 14 thousand 685 more cases were reported.

In addition, 28 thousand 547 active cases of COVID-19 distributed in different entities of the Republic were recently reported, that is, presumed people infected with the virus since they presented some of the characteristic symptoms of the disease.
