However, on some occasion, all companies have experienced an unexpected event or an adverse situation such as the hacker attack, failure, power outage or natural disaster that could generate irreparable loss of data and stored information of the organizations, interrupting the operational continuity of the businesses.
According to the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF), only 10% of business they have an effective continuity program for their technology systems even though they are 100% dependent on them. According to an analysis carried out by this company, the main risks that can arise in the services of a company are: hardware failures (40%), power outages (20%), human errors (18%), software complications (17%), and hacker attacks, among other external dangers (5%).
