Our newsletter brings you, dear readers, news from the twelve districts of Berlin and has meanwhile been subscribed to more than 273,000 times throughout Berlin. With around 37,000 subscriptions, Charlottenburg Wilmersdorf is the most read of our district newsletters and is always published on Fridays. You can order our newsletter from Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and all other Berlin districts here free of charge: tagesspiegel.de/districts

Cay Dobberke reports from CHARLOTTENBURG-WILMERSDORF on the following topics, among others:

  • On the Bonhoefferufer next to the Spree and the Schlossbrücke, the Berlin Environmental and Transport Administration has had the bank reinforcement renewed since 2020 and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. There is a ban on stopping almost everywhere on the street during the day. However, residents who park their cars there do not have to expect fines. Instead, if their vehicles are obstructing material deliveries, for example, they are notified by a construction company and can drive the wagons away. According to the Senate administration, the focus is on a “cooperative approach”. This irritates the district and apparently also some residents. More on this in the newsletter, other topics this time include:
  • Pre-election glitches: Missing seals and a wrong candidate name
  • High-rise projects near the Zoo train station
  • Jewish campus projects: the foundation changes plans for the new building at Grunewald train station – and the costs at the Wilmersdorfer Chabad cultural center explode
  • Non-profit café is looking for new premises
  • Will there be a Harald-Juhnke-Platz? FDP announces symbolic renaming
  • Neighborhood supports Kiezkino with Edgar Wallace film series

Incidentally, in our newsletter from Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf and of course in all other district newsletters from the Tagesspiegel, you can point out and congratulate the birthdays of friends, life partners, relatives, neighbors, colleagues, business partners, etc. Write to our authors, whose e-mail addresses you in the newsletters Find.
