A 30-year-old woman suffocated her 59-year-old mother, who was bedridden in a house in the Cordoba town of Capilla del Monte, with a pillow and, later, guilt led her to confess what she had done to the police. The assailant was detained, investigators reported.
Commissioner Inspector Héctor Villagra, from the Punilla Norte Department, told the media this morning that a woman called 911 to report that she had killed her mother in her home, located on Richieri street, in the town of Capilla del Monte, and when the troops arrived at the place they found a woman “bedridden and without vital signs.”

The victim’s daughter, who was in the house, confessed that she was “tired of fighting with her mother and that she had murdered her by placing a pillow on her face,” with which she suffocated and killed her, the police official said. .
The victim was identified as María Rosa Ravetti, while her daughter Celeste Rodríguez was transferred to a Penitentiary Service in the city of Córdoba and charged with the crime of “homicide qualified by the link.”
