Prince Harry’s wife did not attend the ceremony, while the Sussexes have been at odds with the royal family since a series of statements against “the institution”.
Karl Jenkins put an end to the unlikely guesses, the day after the coronation. “I was quite surprised that people thought I was Meghan Markle in disguise”, he laughed in a video posted on TikTok. The Welshman said he wore his impressive mustache “since he was 18”. “It was very fashionable at the time”, he guaranteed. The composer was invited because he had composed one of the pieces played during the ceremony.
