A married couple was found dead of gunshot wounds in the garage of their South Las Vegas Valley apartment Thursday night in what police believe was a murder-suicide.
The man and woman, both in their 30s, were found around 8 p.m. in the Arista Apartment Homes complex, near East Starr Avenue and Bermuda Road. The couple was arguing and witnesses told police they heard two shots, according to Lt. Jason Johansson of the Metropolitan Police Department.
He said the couple’s three children were found unharmed inside the apartment. Johansson described one of the children as very young and the other two as teenagers.
“It’s a very tragic case where we have three children who are now without their mother and father,” Johansson said.
He said it was too early to say which person killed the other.
