Cubans in Matanzas have been unable to process their electronic cards for 7 days due to a system crash

Between the blackouts, the shortage of cash and the lousy internet service, the so-called bankarization seems to be on the way to failure, as shown by testimonies published by the local official television station TV Yumurí.

According to the Matanzas channel, when they made this report, only one ATM was working in the main city of the province, while many others were undergoing maintenance.

Residents denounced that due to the justification of the bank with supposed network connection problems, they had been waiting for seven days in the branches to resolve a process for their electronic cards.

In the midst of the daily problems of blackouts, cash shortages and lousy internet that further complicate the application of the zero cash campaign in Cuba, curiously it seems that an order has been given by the ruling party, from Facebook profiles, several of which are linked the regime, such as that of the Provincial Directorate of Finance and Prices of Holguín, spread in recent days on social networks a threatening message to owners of MSMEs to close their businesses if they oppose the new financial corralito.

“If a MiPyme is not able to manage its finances using the means of payment that are used throughout the world, if that is the case, your MiPyme will never be successful, then it is better that it disappear,” says this post copied and pasted in several of these profiles.

The irony of the repeated message from official profiles on social networks is that it becomes public when these businesses do not have priority in banks on the island when they deposit their cash.

This is the case with the MSME La Esperanza, in Santiago de Cuba, whose owner tells the official local television station Turquino Teve that they are going to deposit in the bank three to four times a week.
