Dacia, by tradition, is a company that is committed to supplying essential cars but at the same time representing the best value for money on the market. In 2022, Dacia gained a record market share of 8.3%, against a 10% market contraction, positioning itself as the third best-selling foreign brand to private buyers.

Among the brand’s solutions, the compact stands out Sanderowhich we have tried on several occasions, such as the best-selling proposalfollowed by Duster and Spring. The electric one is among the best-selling battery models ever, thanks to an aggressive price compatible with state incentives, good autonomy and practical but also refined on-board solutions. Also not to be forgotten is the recently renovated Jogger, which will soon be available with the Hybrid 140 engine directly inherited from Renault Clio.

The transition to the new identity, which took place in 2022, was positively received by customers and recorded over 37,000 orders. Dacia has also introduced a new showroom called “Eco-Smart”, which uses recycled and sustainable materials for the furnishings; the manufacturer plans to launch new models such as the aforementioned Jogger Hybrid 140, but also Spring Extreme with Electric 65 engine and the Extreme trim on all models in 2023. For the brand, this is a clear leap forward compared to the past which, however, does not risk “cannabilising” Renault; the manufacturer, in fact, specified that Dacia’s role is to exploit the know-how of the French company in the group’s profitability chain.

What to expect at future in addition to new models? Dacia’s number one specified that until 31 December 2034 we will sell heat engines, with the presence of mix solutions (LPG) with approval up to 7 euros, a real novelty for both the brand and the sector. No plans instead for a full hybrid on LPG.
