Welcome to Daniela Katzenbergers (36) make-up tutorial – with a small catch: daughter Sophia (7) swings the brush. And with another catch: You see almost nothing.
In an Instagram video, the mother-daughter team laughs when Sophia conjures up a “completely normal, completely natural day make-up” for her mom. However, the end result is anything but subtle.
The seven-year-old sits behind Daniela, who has crossed her arms behind her. So she can’t intervene to correct it. And daughter Sophia boldly grabs the paint pot!
The mascara is the beginning. The fact that some color ends up under the eye and even on the nose – who hasn’t experienced that before?
Simply dabbing eyeshadow onto the eyelid would be boring
The concealer follows, which Sophia places under Daniela’s eyes like a little professional. “You can never use enough of that,” jokes Mama Daniela, as Sophia spreads a mass of beige paste over the skin.
Blue eye shadow is painted coldly on the forehead, and lipstick and blush bring so much color to the face that every clown would be jealous.

“You can go out with it, nobody will notice that you have put on make-up,” says Daniela about the end result and can hardly speak for laughter. “Guaranteed to stand out – that is, standing next to Olivia Jones.”
