Daniela Katzenberger (36) and Lucas Cordalis (55) have been married since June 4, 2016 and have a daughter Sophia (7) together. The RTL jungle camp starts on January 13th.

Dear Lucas, now you are on your way to Australia and me and Sophia must be without you for so many, many weeks. But, you know what?
You’re perfect for the jungle! At the other end of the world, between spiders and slippery pig testicles, absolutely nothing will shock you anymore. After all, you have long since passed your biggest jungle test – six years of marriage with ME.
And do it again every day, with so much love and joy! You put up with me being tousled in the morning – and against me when I get up every cockroach is a dream princess! You put up with my bad mood when I’m hungry, and even my home-cooked food doesn’t throw you off course.

And that’s usually a hundred times worse than any jungle test! Remember the other day when I was trying to bake a chocolate cake? She looked like an elephant pooped in the oven – but you loved her.
You will master the jungle like your father did 19 years ago. You have so much of him! Nothing makes you angry! You are friendly to everyone. You’re not argumentative, you don’t need luxury – and you hate it when people gossip.
I always say: Your IQ is higher than there are days in the year! Our daughter must have the clever head of one.
Only two things, dear Lucas, please stay secret: my real weight and your Greek cannelloni! Please leave them nicely wrapped when showering and bathing in the jungle, no matter how much it itches and crawls under your swimming trunks after the exams. Because not only your daughter is watching, but also your mother-in-law!
So, and now I have to learn how to cook properly in order to rebuild your Greek love mass after your return. Because without your jar of Nutella and your applesauce, you’re bound to lose a few pounds.
But we’ll get it back. If need be, I’ll just make a chocolate cake again!
