UNITED STATES.- Darren Kent, actor known for the character of “Goatherd” in the series “Game of Thrones”, died at the age of 39.
“It is with deep sadness that we have to share that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and his best friend were by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family at this difficult time, ”said the actor’s agency Carey Dodd Associates through their social networks.
“Darren was not only a gifted actor, director and writer, but he truly was one of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have been a part of his journey,” he added.
Kent appeared in a memorable 2014 episode of the hit show “Game of Thrones.” His first appearance on screen, however, was a decade earlier, in the original series “Shameless.”
