Netflix has decided to honor one of the most famous couples in the world. Since Wednesday, October 4, users of the red N platform can discover four episodes of the mini-series on the Beckhams. For the first time, the now retired footballer talks about his professional and personal life in complete transparency. As the episodes focused on his career, viewers got to see a new side of the player. During the episodes, David and Victoria Beckham reveal themselves and say more about their family life and their life as a couple. Whether it was about the death and kidnapping threats they received or their first dates, they decided to be transparent with their audiences. But a question arises: how much were they paid by the production for this large-scale documentary?

According to Variety, the documentary series was co-produced by David Beckham’s Studio 99, which made it possible to collect numerous archive images. Still according to the American magazine, it seems that Netflix paid 16 million pounds sterling, or 18.5 million euros, for the production of the series. On the other hand, no one knows the exact amount received by the Beckham couple and children. Following these revelations, Variety tried to contact Netflix to confirm this amount and find out a little more about the budget. Unfortunately, the streaming platform did not wish to comment on the information.
