In a statement released on January 7, the Consulate General of Algeria in New York (United States of America) announced the death of Nacef Mohamed Zin-Eddine, a member of the Algerian diaspora established in Arizona in the USA. .

After presenting its sincere condolences following this tragic news, the Consulate General of Algeria in New York announced that “the remains of the deceased will be transported to Algeria for his burial, and this, after completion of the applicable procedures”. .

“It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Nacef Mohamed Zin-Eddine, a member of the Algerian diaspora living in Arizona, USA. In this painful circumstance, we offer our sincere condolences and our deepest sympathy. Praying to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His holy mercy, to welcome him into His vast paradise and to lend patience and comfort to his loved ones. To God we belong and to Him we return.” wrote the Consulate General of Algeria in New York in its press release.

The remains of the deceased risked being cremated

It should be recalled that a member of the Algerian diaspora in the USA had posted a message on Facebook in the hope of finding the contact or locating a member of the family of the deceased in Algeria or in America.

Indeed, in his message, he had indicated that “the remains of the deceased risked incineration during this month of January, if no member of his family presented himself to the local services in order to claim his body for burial”. .

Moreover, he had also attached to his appeal a letter from the Department of Public Health of the County of Maricopa in Arizona (USA) which had left his contact for any information concerning the deceased or his family.

However, the same document did not fail to note that “in the event that he did not receive a response within 15 days of the date of the letter, the competent services would proceed to the cremation of the remains of the deceased Zin-Eddine”.
