After the announcement of Death Stranding 2 fans naturally wanted to know when the sequel from Kojima Productions can be expected. The game director and head of the studio betrayed it Hideo Kojima but not. The trailer and a few words about the story are the only information we have officially received so far. However, an artist on an ArtStation profile could use the release period of Death Stranding 2 revealed.

Senior Artist is behind the possible leak to the Kojima game Frank Aliberti. In the past, he has worked for the Playstation Studios Visual Arts team, among others, and during this time has worked on projects such as Firewall Ultra for PSVR2on a previously unknown first-person shooter and also on Death Stranding 2. In the portfolio he finally noted that the PS5 sequel in the year 2024 to go on sale. Aliberti has since removed the profile entry.
A screenshot of the portfolio can of course still be found on the Internet – for example in the ResetERA Forum. But that is certainly not a guarantee that the sequel from Kojima Productions will actually be released in 2024. But it is always possible. Part 1 is in Nov 2019 went on sale and needed just under, according to Kojima three years in the development. The studio’s last project was the Director’s Cut from Death Stranding, which brought more content to the title in 2021.
Other projects at Kojima Productions
Death Stranding 2 – which is still a working title for now – isn’t the only project Hideo Kojima and his team are working on, however.
