Death Stranding is an action-adventure game developed by Hideo Kojima and published by Kojima Productions. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 in November 2019 and was later ported to the PC as well.
In Death Stranding you play the role of Sam Porter Bridges, a delivery man who lives in a post-apocalyptic world where mankind has been struck by a catastrophe dubbed “Death Stranding”. The world is plagued by inexplicable paranormal phenomena and humanity is forced to hide in domes to protect themselves from the dangers of the outside world. Sam is a delivery man working for the United Cities of America, taking essential supplies from dome to dome.
Throughout the game, Sam will have to deal with various dangers, including enemy creatures. Sam also has the ability to see and communicate with the spirits of the deceased. He also has to deal with the emotional strains that come with his job and try to connect with the people he meets.
