Japan has lost its head with the premiere of Demon Slayer | Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Swordsmith Villagethe new feature film in this franchise that has been a monumental success in theaters in Japan.

We all remember the madness experienced with the premiere of the first film Mugen Train and the prelude to the second season around the year 2021. And now everything indicates that the exact same phenomenon will be repeated with this new film that is actually a special case.

In the strict sense, Demon Slayer | Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Swordsmith Village is made up of the last two episodes of the Yuukaku-hen arc, also known as the Entertainment District Arc.

And it is also assembled with the preview of the first episode of the Katanakaji no Sato-hen arc, also known as the Swordsmith Village Arc.

In other words, the tape is basically made up of the final two episodes of the current arc and the first that kicks off the new volume of the saga in the anime.

This detail made some purists question the impact of this tape with its release in movie theaters. But at least in Japan it has proven to be a smashing success at the box office.

The good news is that it will soon be possible to see if the same phenomenon is repeated in Latin America.

When is Demon Slayer released | Kimetsu no Yaiba: To the Swordsmith Village in Mexico and Latin America

The premiere of this new film is the central axis of the Demon Slayer World Tour 2023, starting on the right foot in Japan where collection throughout its first three days of release a total of 1,158,765,410 million yen, which is equivalent to USD $8.79 million dollars.
