The DFB leadership sees the right man in national coach Hansi Flick to make the German national team more successful again and more attractive in the public eye. “I’m so convinced that Hansi Flick will be able to do it. He feels the trust in us”said the new DFB sports director Rudi Völler in the ‘Aktuelle Sportstudio’.

Hansi Flickagreed association president Bernd Neuendorf in the broadcast, “is someone who reaches the team. Someone who has the right approach and who is good with players. There was no reason to doubt his abilities. Even a coach needs trust.” Flick’s contract is still dated until the end of the 2024 home European Championship.
