Diablo 4 Season 1, despite being a little more of the same, has helped me to reconcile with a class that I hated

With almost two months on sale in stores, there are millions of players who have faced Lilith and her army of demons that have assaulted Sanctuary in Diablo 4. One of the latest news that has come to the game has been its Season 1 , something very necessary to introduce novelties and thus offer players more ways to pass the time.

In my case, the days before it started I left the game a bit aside, in order to catch it even more eagerly when these new contents arrived, something that has effectively caused me to get hooked once again. By the way, I took the opportunity to create a whole new characterespecially since otherwise it was impossible to access this first season.

From the Rogue and his fast attacks to the Druid and his transformations

Months ago, when the beta of devil 4I mainly took the opportunity to test the different classes that were going to be available from day one. Due to his characteristics, abilities and way of playing, it was clear to him that the Rogue was probably going to be the one I was going to opt forbecause at least in that first contact he was the one I enjoyed the most and the one who ultimately became my main character in the final version.

Still, it wasn’t my first choice, because actually the one I most wanted to play was the Druid because it was one of my favorites in the mythical Diablo II. However, in the beta it was by far the class that I liked the least of the five existing ones, for many opportunities that I gave it after dedicating its good number of hours, but not even with those.

During the first levels I tried different combinations of abilities, but I couldn’t find the right one that would completely convince me. I tried first to transform into a bear, then into a werewolf and later by attacking directly with elemental skills, but nothing, because at all times I did not notice that I did too much damage compared to the other classes.

What’s more, the final boss of the first dungeon was a breeze with any of the four remaining classes, but with the Druid I got desperate. Between the fact that he didn’t remove much damage and his attack speed seemed excessively slow to me, it was a bit frustrating. That’s why at first I thought that maybe I hadn’t chosen the right skills, but as much as I exchanged them over and over again there was no way to find the correct key.

Time to give him a second chance

From what I’ve seen, with the arrival of Season 1 I could have chosen to create a different class, like the Necromancer, the Sorcerer or the Barbarian, but I thought it was a good opportunity to return to the Druid. Mainly because by now countless experts have given enough cane to devil 4 how to consult tips and the best combinations to take advantage of the Druid.

Diablo 4 Druid 03

So I made the call Werewolf Tornado Druidwhich is basically making the Druid transform into a werewolf and use elemental abilities, especially that of the Tornado, which is the one that causes the greatest number of years. However, getting it to be perfect requires having a very useful unique item, as it turns basic storm abilities into werewolf abilities, but that doesn’t mean it’s otherwise useless.

By now I’ve leveled up to level 43 and I have to admit that for much of this new journey I’ve been on bad memories came back with the Druid. Again he felt that he hit excessively slow and did hardly any damage, but it was also an unfair thought, because the Rogue is a submachine gun because of how fast he attacks.

Of course I am aware that comparisons are hateful, but unfortunately unavoidable. That does not mean that I did not want to give up and therefore continue with the Druid, since I had promised to be my main class this season. Yes indeed, It took me her fair share of levels to begin to appreciate her qualities.especially when I already started to obtain objects in conditions.

Diablo 4 Druid 04

So the Tornado was already starting to cause a real carnage, especially against large groups of enemies, and also when combined with the Hurricane, which generates an aura of damage in the form of a storm.

The best thing was when I got a legendary weapon whose power caused that instead of transforming into a bear with the ultimate, now i became a werewolf, with a movement speed that seems like I’m carrying a rocket whenever I transform. Also, he hits pretty well and as I get a decent team and increase his attack speed, the more I want to keep leveling him up.

This is how Diablo IV Season 1 has begun: problems, tips, season pass, challenges and more

So it has taken me her fair share of months to reconcile with the Druid and to realize that in truth It wasn’t as bad as I originally thought.. Now I just have to get the aforementioned unique item, the Roar of the Tempest helmet, in order to fully squeeze the power of this particular type of Druid.

A first season that has not ended up being what I expected

After so many days playing Season 1, it makes me a bit reluctant that I end up exhausting myself in the long run, because I feel that in the end I am doing a little the same than before the arrival of these new contents. I’m aware there’s a new campaign, but the main quests I’ve completed so far haven’t gotten me hooked enough to want to continue with this plot.

Diablo 4 Pass

For its part, the season pass has not ended up being what I imagined either. And it is that days ago Blizzard assured that by playing for a while a week it would be easy to finish it and it is not the feeling that it is giving me at all, because with the level 43 Druid that I have and playing several hours a day, I’m only going for level 15 of 90 of the passso I’m not sure if spending just a little time every seven days would be enough…

Also, the company said that it would not be necessary to reach level 100 to unlock all the rewards, which is true, but you have to read the fine print. This is because one of the last free rewards is to empower Smoldering Ashes and for this it is required that the character have level 100. So, yes, you don’t have to hit the max to complete the battle pass, but if you don’t, there’s no point in trying to try if you can’t take advantage of everything the free version has to offer.

In short, a few “buts” in this first season that I am aware that it is also a test for Blizzard and so on. know what to improve and perfect for the following which will arrive in the coming months. Until then, I’ll continue to tornado non-stop and slash with my Druid, something I didn’t think I’d say a few months ago.
