MEXICO CITY (apro).– The Secretary of Security, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, confirmed that as a result of the blockades in Chilpancingo, Guerrero, there are five elements of the National Guard, five of the State Police, two public servants from Guerrero and one of a detained federal official, of whom, he stated, “are in good health.”
The official assured that they will seek to set up a dialogue table to listen to the demand to provide the information that is available for the commission of crimes, because the protests originated from the arrest of two people identified as criminal leaders, from the Los Ardillos group, whom they were arrested in possession of cartridges, magazines and drugs.
But he clarified that the indicated persons face a judicial process and, therefore, it is in the hands of judges and not of the state and federal government.
“We are for the guideline for dialogue and more dialogue, but not for the commission of crimes, yes for demonstration, but that it be peaceful” and he affirmed that they are in the best disposition to listen to them, but violent actions in the state will not be supported.
The guideline of the federal government is to sit down to talk, but in no way in actions that do not comply with the law, “we are not going to fall into violence.”
“We are going to continue saying that the guideline of our government is not to attack a group of people. We are not going to answer violence with violence. We are attending to a situation, but it is in no way what you say (failed status) ”, he emphasized.
The official explained that the detained leaders are part of a structure that has been operating in the region for many years: “Two of the people who were mobilizing in the region appear. The main spokesman has been identified and whoever has organized this type of mobilization in other times is already being investigated by the authorities in this city. There is also another leader who named himself president of the Guerrero Commissioners Organization.”
He indicated that in the elements they are investigating, he owns a construction company and has various criminal cases.
“And they are people related to this criminal group known as Los Ardillos. So, an investigation into the events began yesterday, and an instruction was given not to fall for provocations, because it is also known that there were many people forced to demonstrate, ”he said.
