The Argentine coach Diego Cocca, three-time champion in Mexico with Atlas, is the main candidate to be the new technical director of that country’s team, replacing his compatriot Gerardo Martino, who did not continue in his position after Qatar 2022.
The technical director of Tigres from UNAL met with leaders of the Mexican Federation and they liked his project, which is why his name gained strength along with that of Uruguayan Guillermo Almada, reported the newspaper Medio Tiempo.
