The Ardennes season has started. After Dorian Godon’s success on the Flèche Brabançonne on Wednesday, the peloton set off from Maastricht to reach Valkenburg. 253.6 kilometers long and punctuated by 33 difficulties, the course will offer, as usual, Sunday, April 16, a nice main course for the runners.
We will find in particular on the starting line, the podium of last year, composed of Michał Kwiatkowski, Benoît Cosnefroy, and Tiesj Benoot. Will also be present, Tom Pidcock, Marc Hirschi, Bob Jungels, Neilson Powless or Valentin Madouas in particular. But the big favorite will obviously be Tadej Pogacar, expected as the ogre of this Ardennes campaign.
