After a prologue in the streets of Le Bouveret, which saw Josef Cerny win and take the leader’s jersey, the peloton heads to Le Sentier on Wednesday, in a stage that should delight the sprinters.

After warming up with the prologue, the Tour de Romandie sets off for 170.9 kilometers between Crissier and Le Sentier, Wednesday April 26 from 1:20 p.m. A stage punctuated by some difficulties, with a third category pass 48.3 kilometers from the finish and two second category passes, respectively 104.9 kilometers and 97.3 kilometers from the goal.

Despite these climbs, the sprinters should be able to compete for victory, after a flat course during the last 50 kilometers. The final packaging could notably be played between Mark Cavendish (Astana Qazaqstan Team), Elia Viviani (INEOS Grenadier), Fernando Gaviria (Movistar Team) or even Giacomo Nizzolo (Israel-Premier Tech), but also younger wolves like Ethan Hayter (INEOS Grenadiers), Ethan Vernon (Soudal-Quick Step) or Alberto Dainese (Team DSM).
