In addition to these announced projects that are Harmony: The Fall of Reverie and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, DON’T NOD seems to be working on a completely different game.

A constantly evolving studio

A few months ago, Dontnod Entertainment announced a total rebranding to become DON’T NOD. In addition to a change of name and visual identity, these changes also marked the evolution of the company over the years and the desire to offer more and more varied titles. Indeed, if the studio is best known for these narrative works such as Life is Strange, Twin Mirror or Tell Me Why, it seems that we can expect very different things in the months and years to come.

The firm has just published a press release in which there is talk of a large increase in its capital aimed at accelerating its development in the sphere of Action-RPG. Thus, studio officials took the opportunity to formalize the development of a new title of the genre named Project 12. Obviously, this is a provisional code name proving the poor progress of the creative process, but we have Still got some interesting details…

It should thus be a title “richer in game mechanics” which will allow players to “immerse themselves in even more engaging stories” while representing a real “advance in terms of production”. Note that the game should not arrive before 2025 and that it will therefore be necessary to be patient before hoping to see and learn more.

In the meantime, DON’T NOD has confirmed that it wants to market eight games between 2023 and 2025, six of which will be titles developed internally, while two will be developed by independent studios and only published by the French company.
