Another tragedy adds to this long list, this time it is two people, a 12-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man who died by drowning in a water reservoir in el Arar de la commune of Moudjbara in the wilaya of Djelfa.

Indeed, according to the press release made public by the General Directorate of Civil Protection, the first aid of the main unit in Djelfa, represented by the diving brigade and the intervention and identification brigade in difficult places, intervened, yesterday Friday, December 23, around 2:36 p.m. following the drowning of two people in a water reservoir 50 meters long, 50 meters wide and 05 meters deep, at the level of Al-Arar located at about 7 km from the town of Moudjebara.

It is therefore a 12-year-old girl and a 40-year-old man who tried to save her were fished out and transferred to the mortuary service of the Mohad Abdelkader hospital in Djelfa. The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

2 children drowned in a lake in Tlemcen

A few days ago, the civil protection services of the wilaya of Mascara recovered the bodies of two children drowned in a lake. And this, at the level of the village of Oued Bali located in the commune of Oued El Abtal.
