In times of inflation, group purchases are a way for consumers to reduce their bills. In Bourg-lès-Valence (Drôme), the town hall offers residents the opportunity to sign up to different contracts together.
One afternoon a week, the wedding hall of the town hall of Bourg-lès-Valence (Drôme) is set up especially for the occasion. A change of scenery to accommodate residents looking to reduce their bills. The city offers them the possibility of taking out various contracts at advantageous prices. Collective contracts negotiated by the town hall which make it possible to obtain lower prices. “Compared to what I have, there would be 30 euros less”says a resident seduced by the initiative.
Three offers so far
To benefit from these advantageous prices, you must live or work in Bourg-lès-Valence. In this municipality, contracts are still limited. But the town hall would like to expand the offers. “There are only three offers, because we wanted to go there little by little. We are studying home insurance in group purchase. […]. We are also thinking about car, motorcycle and electric bike insurance”, says the city councilor, Marlène Mourier (LR). The city also wishes to launch a call for tenders for a group purchase of domestic fuel oil.
