“Burning children alive can never be justified. The entire world is mobilizing to stop the genocide in Gaza,” the 28-year-old singer wrote on Tuesday night – May 28 – when sharing a stories with the hashtag #AllEyesOnRafah (All Eyes on Gaza), which became a trend on social networks.

The American actor Pedro Pascal and the model Bella Hadid also published messages of support for Gaza through the campaign All eyes on Rafah launched by Instagram users.

Israel’s condemnations multiplied after the bombing on Sunday of a displaced persons camp near Rafah, in southern Gaza, which left 45 dead, according to the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian territory, governed by the Islamist movement Hamas.

The conflict broke out on October 7, 2023, when Islamist commandos killed 1,189 people, mostly civilians, in southern Israel, according to an AFP report based on official Israeli data.

The militants also kidnapped 252 people. Israel claims that 121 remain kidnapped in Gaza, of which 37 have died.

In response, Israel launched an air and land offensive against Gaza, which has so far left 36,171 dead, the vast majority of them civilians, according to the Ministry of Health of the Hamas government.
