Duo Of Thieves Chain ATM To Remove It From Site By Speeding A U-Haul

Two masked men dressed in black, wearing gloves and a hood, robbed an ATM after chaining it to a U-Haul truck to remove it from its rack in Philadelphia, according to authorities.

The violent act took place at about 4:06 am on August 1 at the High Time convenience store located in the 2448 block of Montgomery Avenue.

Surveillance footage captured the moment one of the individuals dismounted from the moving truck to chain the ATM and then the other sped up to pull the device up. Once out of its rack the two of them mounted it in the rear cabin of the vehicle before fleeing.

The U-Haul truck was seen fleeing toward Ridge Avenue from Montogmery Avenue.
