But the Bayern interest seems to please the player side at least once. Kolo Muani’s consulting agency MDC Advisors recently told the ‘Abendzeitung’: “Bayern is a world-class club, every player can imagine that. And with Randal, too, we can guess the answer.”

And Kolo Muani himself chose similar words after yesterday’s 1-1 draw at ‘Sky’: “FC Bayern is a big club and every player dreams of playing for big clubs.” One or the other responsible person on Säbener Straße will have pricked up their ears.

A day later, however, the Frenchman rowed back slightly to ‘Bild’: “I haven’t been here that long and still have a long contract (until 2027, editor’s note). It is out of the question for me to think about other things.” The future will show whether that will change soon.
