Sánchez supports Illa at the closing of the campaign in Barcelona
The President of the Government and Secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sanchezwill support this Friday the first secretary of the PSC and socialist candidate for the Generalitat of Catalonia, Salvador Illain the act with which they close the campaign for the elections on Sunday, May 12.
The final touch will be in the Vall d’Hebron Pavilionthe same enclave that the socialists chose to conclude the electoral campaign for the municipal and regional elections on May 28.
With tomorrow, finally, they will be four acts in which Sánchez has been with Illa within a campaign in which there has been no hardly any participation from ministers or PSOE leaders with the exception of the head of Industry, the Catalan Jordi Hereu, and the former president of the Government José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
However, the campaign started marked by Sánchez’s decision to stop and reflect, which led to the suspension of his first two scheduled events. Once he confirmed his continuity, the president accompanied Illa in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Montmeló, Vilanova i la Geltrú and Barcelona, all of them within the province of Barcelona, the one that distributes the most seats.
