The president of the RN group in the National Assembly believes that the intervention of the President of the Republic this Monday evening “announces the continuation of a five-year term of contempt, indifference and brutality”.

Unsurprisingly, Emmanuel Macron’s speech on Monday evening hardly convinced Marine Le Pen. The president of the National Rally group in the Assembly castigated a head of state “still stuck in a parallel world”, who “did not have a word about the inflation which is suffocating the French and their power to collapsing purchase”.

Marine Le Pen would have hoped for the announcement “of the withdrawal of the pension reform” or of a “referendum” which, according to her, would have made it possible to “rebuild the link with the French”. Nothing happened: if Emmanuel Macron said not to “remain deaf” to the anger of the French, mostly hostile to the pension reform, he defended “necessary changes”.

A practice “disconnected” from power

“He has chosen again to turn his back on them and ignore their suffering”, reacts Marine Le Pen.

“This disconnected, solitary and obtuse practice of power announces the continuation of a five-year term of contempt, indifference and brutality from which we will have to get out of the ballot box,” said MP RN.

Emmanuel Macron promised him, on the contrary, the opening of “100 days of appeasement, unity, ambition and action in the service of France” and gave an appointment to the French for a first assessment on 14 next July.
