The popular series “Succession” is coming to an end after four seasons.

This is what creator Jesse Armstrong says in an interview with The New Yorker. Here he says that he has been pondering the ending since season two.

The fourth season, where an entire episode was recorded in Norway, will be released on HBO on March 27.

Armstrong further reveals that he already decided on the ending back in late 2021, along with the other screenwriters.

– We were going to start season four, and then I told the others that I thought the time had now come.

In the upcoming season, a Norwegian actor has hijacked a role from the world-famous drama series.

– I did an audition and got the role based on that. A self-tape like that that you send in digitally and was included in the episode here in Norway, I was also involved in recording in New York, Eilie Harboe told God morgen Norge earlier in February.

Several scenes of the critically acclaimed series were filmed in Norway, mainly in Valldal and the surrounding area.

– Those I spoke to were incredibly fascinated by nature and the place we were in, both fjord and mountains, said Harboe about what the “Succession” colleagues think of Norway.

The plot of the series revolves around the rich media mogul Logan Roy and his four children. It has previously won 13 Emmy awards, and can boast a total of 48 nominations.
