Great architect of the victory of his team won against Brentford, synonymous with qualification for the fourth round of the FA Cup. West Ham manager David Moyes was full of praise for the Algerian international.

West Ham faced Brentford in the away FA Cup last night. Having started the match from the substitutes’ bench, Said Benrahma appeared on the pitch in the second half. The least we can say is that he made a successful entry.

Indeed, only ten minutes after his incorporation in the 69th minute, he managed to score the only goal of victory, synonymous with qualification for the fourth round of the competition. The Algerian international was once again decisive, increasing his goal counter to 6.

Moyes raved about Benrahma

West Ham manager David Moyes was full of praise for Said Benrahma. He said he was amply satisfied with his performance in the twenty minutes he played.

“I think Said (Benrahma) did that in different games and he came off the bench and made an impact. He was supposed to start the match in the starting XI, but we changed our system of play. The most important thing is that he was decisive after his inclusion”. He will say straight away.

And to add: “I also think that I can play Said in several positions. He scored a terrific goal and came close to scoring another. He was a little unlucky with another, I think he was offside when he passed.

That said, it seems that the winger of the Greens is starting to regain his best level but above all the confidence of his coach. Hoping that it remains on its upward curve for the next stage of the national selection in March.
