New week, new free games on the Epic Games Store. Will the store continue its momentum and still offer a nice selection to celebrate its spring sales?
The same routine every week. Since the launch of the Epic Games Store in 2018, the American publisher has been delighting PC gamers with new weekly free games. Sometimes the creators of Fortnite make available small productions that deserve to be known to the general public. Other times, big games are offered. This is the case of Dying Light Enhanced Edition which is still available until April 13, 2023 at 4:59 p.m. After this period, he and his partner will therefore be replaced by a new duo of gifts.
Two new free Epic Games Store games
The EGS hit hard for its spring sales. Until April 20, players can take advantage of big discounts and fill their toy library without breaking the bank. We think in particular of Cyberpunk 2077, GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition which are half price when The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt – Complete Edition goes below the 15€ mark. To mark the occasion, the store did not do things by halves in terms of free games. The excellent Dying Light Enhanced Edition and the popular Shapez were offered. Of April 13 to April 20 at 5 p.m.French time, they will however be replaced by two new free games from the Epic Games Store.
Mordhau
Starting with the slasher medieval multiplayer Mordhau which had been a small phenomenon when it was released in 2019. In this title, players are therefore invited to create their mercenary from scratch to take part in violent medieval battles, screaming truth, brutal and devilishly fun. Knowing your equipment and the movements of your opponents will be imperative to survive the various confrontations. A free Epic Games Store game that charmed us with its ubiquitous humor, total immersion and damn well thought out class system. We are not the only ones to have been conquered. On Steam, Mordhau has more than 80,000 very positive reviews, which is rare enough to be highlighted.
Second Extinction
The second free Epic Games Store game did not cause as much of a stir when it launched. Released in 2020, Second Extinction presents itself as a multiplayer cooperative game where you have to pound gigantic dinosaurs by taking out heavy artillery, alone or accompanied by a friend. On the other hand, it is better to go hunting for predators with a partner. The title has clearly been thought out with the squad game in mind. On the program, 6 heroes, 11 weapons each with 5 levels of improvement and 6 missions have been made available to survive the various threats that inhabit the world map at launch. Numbers that have climbed over the updates, the follow-up of this free game having now come to an end.
What are the next Epic Games Store free games?
A selection less striking than the previous one, but which should resonate with fans of the genre. And for the last week? What will the program be?
