player from Escape from Tarkov Starting today, you can look forward to brand new content in the first-person shooter. The team already has the servers for in the morning Maintenance work taken offline. Since 4 p.m the update is now available. The servers were originally supposed to come back around 2 p.m., but a little more time was needed. On the Twitter profile Battlestate Games will give you all the information about the downtime.
What’s in Update 0.13?
A highlight in the beta patch is the debut of the new Streets of Tarkov map, which fans have been waiting for for a long time. Here players will fight for loot mainly in a city environment. Winding buildings, completely deserted streets, wrecked cars and other locations should provide more variety. New weapon models and equipment are also finding their way into the game. One detailed listing is in the published patch notes.
Next server wipe is imminent
With the extensive update, the developers will also be the next server wipe execute. Any progress you’ve made in Escape from Tarkov over the past few months will be reflected after the launch of Version 0.13 thus be completely gone. The entire community starts over again. There is a server wipe in the game roughly every six months. The servers were last cleared in June 2022.
Since more than five years Escape from Tarkov is already in the beta phase. There is no release for the full version yet. For almost two years, the “Streets of Tarkov” map was presented again and again with a teaser. Now the update has been released and can be downloaded directly from the launcher.
