Evaluate social programs in Tamaulipas

Victoria City, Tamaulipas. – Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya and the Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, held a meeting to evaluate the programs that the Federal Government has in place in Tamaulipas, highlighting the approach to activate in a city on the state border, a new support program for mothers who work in the maquiladora industry.

During the meeting held this Thursday at noon at Casa Tamaulipas, the federal official highlighted the extraordinary working relationship with Governor Américo Villarreal, which has made it possible to reactivate programs that were practically impossible to operate, due to the neglect of the previous state administration.

One of the points mentioned during the evaluation meeting was the excellent performance of the new regional sub-delegates of the State Welfare Secretariat, who recently took up their position and whose work has contributed to increasing the number of beneficiaries and expediting the delivery of the support of the Federal Government in favor of the people of Tamaulipas.

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAM FOR WORKING MOTHERS IN THE MAQUILA IS ANALYZED

Likewise, the secretary Ariadna Montiel proposed to the governor the possibility of launching in one of the cities on the Tamaulipas border, the support program for the Well-being of Girls and Boys, Children of Working Mothers, which would initially have a register of between 10 and 15 thousand beneficiaries and the delivery of 1,600 pesos every two months.

Montiel Reyes also announced that the State recently completed the survey of the pension program for the Well-being of Persons with Disabilities and everything is ready to carry out the delivery of cards that will allow beneficiaries to receive financial support from 2,950 pesos every two months.

Finally, an agreement was reached so that, in the next visit of the Secretary of Well-being, to visit the Migrant Integration Center that operates in the city of Matamoros, in order to verify and strengthen the care provided to people during their stay while their immigration status in the United States is resolved.
