France 2 will soon begin filming a unit titled The Assassin’s Daughterwith Bruno Wolkowitch (Borderline), Nicholas Gob (The best of us), Samir Boitard (gears), Barbara Probst (Speakrine) and Chloé Chaudoye (The Little Murders of Agatha Christie), produced by La Boite à images (A mother under the influence, with Julie De Bona and Caroline Anglade).

What is the plot of The Assassin’s Daughter?

The Assassin’s Daughter is an adaptation of The faceless girl, by Natalie Carter and Eve de Castro, based on the novel by Patricia MacDonald, and will be shot between March 3 and 31 in the Hauts-de-France region, with Carole Kornmann directing. The story is that of Nina (Chloé Chaudoye), a teenager when her father, Pierre, (Bruno Wolkowitch) is condemned for the murder of his mother, despite claiming his innocence. Fifteen years in prison later, the man benefits from a conditional release which he intends to use to confuse the real assassin. A confrontation then begins between the young woman, her father’s unconditional support, and her two brothers, convinced of her guilt. And while some family secrets will be unearthed, death will strike again…

First lead role on screen for Chloé Chaudoye

Revealed by the series The Little Murders of Agatha Christie 70s version, in which she plays the psychologist Rose Delcourt, alongside Emilie Gavois-Kahn and Arthur Dupont, this is the first time that Cholé Chaudoye has played a main character in a TV movie. Trained at the National Theater of Strasbourg, she appeared in some fictions such as Profiling in 2015 and in Crime in Ramatuelle, released last January, on the occasion of the last opus of the collection. Alongside her career as an actress, the young woman also pursues a career in music. As for Bruno Wolkowitch and Nicolas Gob, never reunited on screen, they recently appeared in The Missing of the Black Forest for the first and The art of crime for the second.
