Hand on heart, it’s a minor miracle that Ezra Miller still has a career. Because unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, it’s been nearly impossible to escape the drama that has arisen in the actor’s wake. Not only has he been arrested for assault and burglary, but he has also received accusations against him regarding contact with minors for sexual purposes. Only the first name is reprehensible, but despite the behavior, there are people who stand behind Miller and praise him.
One of these is Paul Austerberry who was production designer during the filming of The Flash and in an interview with CBC he mentioned that Ezra Miller’s performance in the film is so exceptionally good that people will forget all the crap he did in the past year. Austerberry was also careful to point out how extremely professional Miller was during the shoot despite all the external pressure. But of course it’s not just Miller himself who gets the praise, the film has also enjoyed unusually good press and advance talk celebrates it as one of the best superhero movies ever produced.
