Dresden/Los Angeles – Dresden DJ Tino Piontek (43), known as “Purple Disco Machine”, won a Grammy on the night!
The gold record is considered the most important prize in the industry. It was presented to the Dresdener in Los Angeles at the 65th “Grammy Awards” for his remix of the song “About Damn Time” by the American singer Lizzo. It won in the category “Best Remix Recording”.
Piontek on his victory: “I still haven’t realized it. I’m so proud, so happy. I think I’ll realize it in a few days when I’m back home.” He wants to display his award in his studio, where everyone can see it.
