A Minecraft player has shown off an amazing ice boat rink he’s created in-game with his cousin, taking players on excursions to views from around the world.

The ice rinks for boats are just another subsection of the community, as other challenge modes of Minecraftsuch as parkour and speed running, are also very popular among gamers.

When Minecraft was first released in 2011, no one could have predicted the impact it would have on pop culture. Developer Mojang would go on to create the best-selling game of all time, with its voxel-based, procedurally generated worlds that captured the imagination of every gamer.

By creating simple building mechanics to be mastered, the developer made sure there was something for everyone. Even smaller maps, like the track seen here, are certainly within the reach of the average gamer if they’re willing to put in the time to learn.

The track takes players on a tour of Minecraft, with the ice rink starting in a series of caves before moving into the standard Overworld.

It then continues through the other dimensions of Minecraft, traversing the Nether and the End. Reddit user Koning_DanDan claims that the track took just four hours to complete and test. Some Minecraft creations can take years to complete, so this user won’t feel like they spent too much time.
