The never-ending flood of criticism against Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid continues to wash over social media and now it’s Blunder’s turn. The former round and bright yellow fir with large expressive eyes has been transformed into what fans describe as an emaciated clone of Steve Buscemi. It’s also not the first of the characters in the new Little Mermaid that people have criticized and last month it was the design of Måsart that people went nuts over. And sure, we understand. After all, The Little Mermaid is one of Disney’s most beloved classics, so it’s perhaps not surprising that these new versions of the characters they grew up with catch their eye.
