The prosecution has opened an investigation for manslaughter, after the death of a passenger last Saturday at the Bel-Air station.

The driver of the line 6 metro, involved in an accident which cost the life of a passenger last Saturday at the Bel-Air station, is presented this Friday morning to an investigating judge at the end of his police custody, indicated Friday, April 28 the Paris prosecutor’s office at franceinfo.

The metro driver was taken into custody on Thursday April 27, the Paris prosecutor’s office told franceinfo. He indicates that he has opened a judicial investigation on the count of manslaughter and recalls that the alcohol and narcotics screenings “had turned out to be negative for this RATP employee for 15 years”.

A technical investigation also opened
