Among the two lives that the fatal traffic claimed in recent days in the Region, is the young man who was 19 years old and who on December 7 had hit a car that was parked on Avenida del Petróleo.
As this newspaper reported on that occasion, the boy was fighting to save his life after having been involved in the terrible traffic accident when he was traveling along the former 60 and 124.
After spending several days hospitalized in the Larrain de Berisso hospital, his death was finally confirmed yesterday.
Official spokesmen detailed to this medium that the boy was in a very delicate state and his prognosis was reserved.

The second cyclist who died this week was a 27-year-old man who, for reasons that are still being clarified, was hit by a truck at 44 and 143, an area with a history of other accidents.
Police sources told this newspaper that the terrible accident occurred on Monday, December 19 around noon.
Regarding the episode, spokespersons detailed that the victim, identified as David Caballero, was traveling on a gray and blue bicycle in that direction.
From one moment to the next, the boy was hit by a Volkswagen truck after its driver tried to turn onto 44.
The wounded young man had been rushed to the Melchor Romero hospital, where he spent several hours fighting for his life. His death occurred during the early hours of Tuesday.
At this time, the criminal prosecutor of La Plata ordered an expert survey and survey of cameras and witnesses in the area who have witnessed the unfortunate episode.
The driver of the truck was also charged for the accident.

“He was going to his gym which is at 142 between 60 and 61, but he never made it to his destination,” he said.
