Several vans caught fire at a car dealership in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district of Berlin. As the fire brigade announced on Friday, 25 small vans caught fire early on Friday morning in an open area of the car dealership on Landsberger Allee at the corner of Blumberger Damm.
Among them was an electric car whose battery caught fire. Alerted emergency services extinguished the fire and cooled the battery. According to the information, a total of 26 firefighters were on site. It is still unclear why the fire broke out. The amount of property damage is not yet known. (dpa)
