Within the framework of the entry into force of the Crecer Juntos Law, this Monday morning the First Board of Directors of the Instituto Crecer Juntos (ICJ) was sworn in, a specialized entity and national benchmark in Early Childhood matters, which in accordance with the new regulations, early childhood includes from zero to eight years.

In this context, said board of directors is made up of representatives (heads and substitutes) of the Presidency of the Republic, the National Council for Early Childhood and Adolescence (CONAPINA), the National Sports Institute (INDES) and the ministries of Health, Education and Culture.

Likewise, and by unanimous vote, Alexandra Posada, representative of the Presidency of the Republic, was elected as president of the First Board of Directors of the Crecer Juntos Institute.

“ANDt is a tremendous pride to accept this challenge of the presidency of the board of directors, and I am filled with gratitude for the trust placed in me to handle this position. In 2019, when she assumed this Government, our first lady had a clear objective, to be able to work from her office to be able to promote the maximum development of our childhood from Early Childhood ”. Posada said.

Similarly, during the installation session, the executive director of the ICJ, Dr. Eunice Deras, was elected, who was sworn in by President Alexandra Posada.

“We assume, because all this jboard of directors and my person who today assumes the position of executive director have the enormous challenge of guaranteeing that each girl and boy in El Salvador can receive comprehensive and quality care. Without a doubt, it is a dream that has been in the mind and heart of our first lady, Gabriela de Bukele.” stressed Dr. Deras.
