Borussia Dortmund set the course for Ansgar Knauff. As ‘Sport1’ journalist Christopher Michel reports, there was one “feeling” of BVB at Knauff. The black and yellow wanted to find out how the general mood of the right winger was, whether he could imagine a future in Dortmund.
Personal matters are not a priority for sports director Sebastian Kehl. As Michel further reports, it should only be after the end of the current transfer period “Get into the Personalie Knauff Movement”.
What is Knuff planning?
How Knauff himself plans remains completely open. His status in Frankfurt is high. If he stays, he’s well on the way to becoming the new crowd favorite at the Waldstadion. And Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche has long signaled that he wants to fight for the loan player.
In Dortmund, Knauff has so far been denied a professional breakthrough. There he commuted between the Bundesliga and third division teams before his loan to Frankfurt. In the meantime, however, Knauff’s former sponsor Edin Terzic is back on the sidelines at Signal Iduna Park, who still thinks highly of the 20-year-old.
