A young Cuban who recently arrived in the United States shared her funny experience when she washed her clothes for the first time.
Natali, as she calls herself on TikTok, showed her ignorance when it came to doing something as simple as washing, and she was not used to a more sophisticated appliance.
“I don’t understand mija, this speaks to itself and everything. It has me… it sings that it sings to you, it sings that it sings to you,” she protested when her mother showed her how the washing machine worked.
The young woman also expressed her astonishment at seeing all the tools that they usually use outside of Cuba to wash their clothes, such as fabric softener or the so-called perfume pearls that give clothes a characteristic smell.
“You really have to be pig, who washes with two jelly balls?” He questioned when he saw the detergent capsules.
Lastly, Natali was “outraged” when she saw that the dryer had “lost” her stocking.
“That dryer doesn’t work. It’s already the fourth one that I’ve lost,” he assured with supposed anger.
Last week, Natali shared a video of her first time in a Miami supermarketfull of foods such as fruits –kiwi, melons, bananas–, various meats and preserves.
After beginning by saying that he would only go in to look, that he would not buy anything because “I am not going to take my food for that”, he left the premises with a crowded cart.
“Is this an onion?” she asked when she saw the size of the onions, but she was more surprised to see a huge yucca on the next shelf: “This is a yucón, what land is it that produces this?” she asked.
