The Fisker Ocean was presented in 2021. The first car has now been delivered. It was handed over to a customer in Copenhagen by company boss Henry Fisker, as the company announced on Twitter. According to the manufacturer, the delivered version of the car has a range of up to 707 kilometers and costs around 67,000 euros. The Sport version with a range of 440 kilometers is available from 38,800 euros. The Fisker Ocean is manufactured in the Magna factory in Graz.
Soon also with replaceable battery
Fisker recently announced that the Ocean will also be available with replaceable batteries in the future. To this end, the company entered into a partnership with the US start-up Ample. The special batteries should be able to be changed in a few minutes at exchange stations instead of being charged. The first Oceans with exchangeable batteries should begin 2024 come on the market.
The Chinese manufacturer Nio already has an e-car with a replaceable battery in its range.
